The Process of Custom Injection Molding


If you want to convert materials like resins, plastics, pellets, powders or other forms into a usable product, then the answer would be custom injection molding. When thermo plastic is used for the injection process, the first step done is to heat and melt the plastic. A specific temperature will be used in order to melt the plastic. Once the plastic is melted, pressure will then be used to push it towards the closed mold. The melted plastic needs to be solidified and cooling it would do this. Once the plastic is solidified, the mold will then be opened and the ejection system would push it out. Simply put, the designing of mold would help determine the success of the manufacturing of your product.
